Energy absorption analysis of aramid composite during blunt projectile impact

چکیده
In this work, a numerical model for aramid composites is experimentally validated in terms of permanent deformation, energy absorption and damage mechanisms ballistic applications. Novel experimental results non-perforating impacts with blunt projectiles are presented. The resistance forces by the specimen measured different impact velocities. A postmortem analysis failure performed using computed tomography profilometer device. used to analyze influence impactor mass velocity below limit.
